Especially for this month, we present you one of the largest yachts, which will be exposed at the Monaco Yacht Show (25-28 september 2013).
It’s the 72m long superyacht ‘Red Square’.
This luxury motoryacht was launched on the 2nd February 2013 by the Turkish shipyard Dunya Yachts.
She’s a full displacement yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
The beam measures 12.2m and she's powered by 2 CAT 3516 C DITA engines which allows her to reach a top speed of 18 knots.
Sterling Scott was responsible for this impressive exterior design.
The six decks offer enough place and entertainment for up to 12 guests. Outside you'll find an amazing wet-edge infinity pool at the aft of the main deck, and below it is a large space to host the tenders.
On the sun deck is a Jacuzzi surrounded by sun beds and a sliding type sea terrace, an open cinema, a gym and of course a large round table to dine al-fresco style.
The high-volume interior, designed by Alberto Pinto, has also some features to show: a huge main saloon which leads out to the yacht’s beach club and pool, an elevator with glass trunk, a massage room and a steam shower.
On the bridge deck is the helipad and a third saloon with glazed roof ceiling.
The entire upper deck is dedicated to the owner with a master suite, walk-in dressing room and a cinema/lounge.
The designer Alberto Pinto is known for its colourful styling.
So you will also find on Red Square a palette where reds, emeralds, blues, greens and earth tones combine in different spaces to create an interesting effect.
Each guest room (a master and 5 double cabins) has it’s own colour which stands in a relation to the marine environment, such as green, blue or coral colour.
The furniture in- and outside is very luxurious.
Natural wood, bleached oak broken down into several finishes (brushed, woven, smooth) and light fabrics were used to create a graceful, relaxing decor.
